Loop Tour

About the ride

Loop Tour is an annual 9-day camping tour sponsored by the Mid-Valley Bicycle Club that is only open to current MVBC members. The first Loop Tour was held in 1976 and it has been held every year since. The routes are typically a 400 - 500 mile loop somewhere in Oregon.

Loop Tour is run twice each summer; the first one ends the last Sunday in June and the second one ends the first Sunday in August. Most loop tours have 20 - 40 riders and 2 sag vehicles. Riders may choose to either carry their gear or have it sagged.

The Loop Tour Primer has a lot of useful information for potential riders.
