Annual Picnic

June-uary is over! Summer is here and it’s time for our annual Barbeque and Potluck Picnic. This year’s event will be held on Sunday, July 11, at the Maple Grove Shelter in Avery Park, from 6:00 pm to about 8:00-ish pm. Hotdogs, hamburgers, veggie burgers (you will need to indicate your preference), condiments, soda, and water will be provided by the club. The rest of the event will be “potluck” style. If your last name begins with A-M, bring a dessert. Last names beginning with N-Z bring a salad or veggie dish. And, of course, if you have a culinary specialty or delight that you wish to share, by all means stray outside the lines and bring it regardless of your name. Or change your last name… we’re a flexible bunch. There will be limited grill space for those who wish to grill other items. Volunteers will be needed for the grilling and also for clean-up afterward. If you can help with either task, please let Larry know.
