Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour

ABOUT THE RIDE: Join the Mid-Valley Bicycle Club (MVBC) for its 29th annual Covered Bridge Bicycle Tour. Explore the rural roads, and depending on the route, cross up to 5 covered bridges in the Mid-Willamette Valley.  You'll experience scenic views, open fields, rolling hills and only a few traffic lights, a relaxing alternative to larger group "bridge" rides. There are a choice of routes, so whether you are looking to spend a morning relaxing with friends on the family route or hammering out every mile possible to get ready for a week-long tour, we've got an option for you.  The MVBC will spoil you with our hospitality and provide participants well stocked rest stops, and on the longer routes, the addition of a "real" lunch and water stops, plus top shelf "SAG" support. Bring your friends and enjoy a fine August day on your bike in the Willamette Valley with the MVBC as your hosts.

EVENT DATES

• Early registration: due by July 30th
• Last day for mail-in registration: August 6th (day-of registration required after this date)
• Day-of registration: August 12, opens at 7AM, closes at 8:30 AM (long tours) or 9:00 AM (family tour)
•  Ride start: August 6th, 7 - 9AM, long rides typically take 8 - 9 hours, SAG driver will sweep the course at 5PM

• To register: Fill out the printable registration form online, print it, and send it in or bring it to the ride
• Ride flyer: The printed ride flyer is available here. (It's formatted for legal paper.)
• Legal release: The release and waiver of liability is available here. (The printed ride flyer does not include the waiver for minors. Get it here and bring it to the registration if you need it.)

GETTING TO THE RIDE: The ride start and end is at the Linn County Fairgrounds, just off I-5 in Albany, Oregon. (Click for driving directions to the start from the north or south.)
