Corvallis Bike Month Proclamation
Date: Monday, May 6th, 6pm
Location: Downtown Corvallis Fire Station, second floor
Details: Join Corvallis Mayor Maughan as he officially declares May 2024 “Corvallis Bike Month”.

Details: Whether you are riding for fun, fitness, with family, taking essential trips to work or shopping, you are part of the movement for safer streets, connected communities, a healthier planet and of course, happier people.
National Walk & Roll to School Day
Date: Wednesday, May 8th
Location: all Corvallis public schools
Details: Get active and participate in National Walk & Roll to School Day, promoting healthy and eco-friendly commuting options for students.
SAFE Corvallis Bike Happy Hour
Date: Friday, May 10th, 4-6pm
Location: Tacovore at Kings/Walnut Blvd
Details: Join SAFE Corvallis for a Bike Happy Hour at Tacovore, celebrating cycling and community. Wear your club jersey!
Girls Riding Together (GRiT) Mountain Bike Ride
Date: Saturday, May 11th, 1-3pm
Location: Lewisburg Saddle
Details: Group ride open to all girls currently in 5th-11th grade, hosted by the Corvallis Composite Mountain Bike Team
MVBC Ride of Silence
Date: Wednesday, May 15th, gather at 6:30pm, depart at 7pm.
Location: Osborne Aquatic Center
Details: Join MVBC for the Ride of Silence, honoring cyclists who have been injured or killed while riding.
The Spring Bike Challenge Registration Deadline
Deadline: May 15th
Details: Register by May 15th for The Spring Bike Challenge. Open to anyone with an OSU ID who enrolls in OSU ZAP Biking Rewards. Register here.
National Bike to Work Day Happy Hour
Date: Friday, May 17th, 4pm
Location: Block 15
Details: Celebrate National Bike to Work Day with a happy hour at Block 15.
Team Dirt trail work
Date: Saturday, May 18th, 9am – 1pm
Location: Peavy Arboretum
Details: Join Team Dirt for trailwork on the new Hole in the Bucket trail. Help maintain our local trails and enjoy the outdoors. Check Team Dirt's calendar for more trail building opportunities.
Bikeway Webinar with Dave Kemp - MVBC General Meeting - open to all
Date: Monday, May 20th, 7pm

Details: As Corvallis embarks on building its bikeway system, don't miss the Dave Kemp webinar hosted by MVBC. Dave is responsible for rolling out bikeways at several US cities and will share his experiences and knowledge.
Free Basic Bike Maintenance Clinic
Date: Wednesday, May 22nd, 5:45-6:45pm
Location: Peak Bike & Outdoor
Details: monthly bike maintenance clinic hosted at Peak Sports on 2nd street.
SAFE Corvallis Ward 6 Bike Tour
Date: Saturday, May 25th, 10am-noon
Location: Osborne Acquatic Center
Details: Explore Ward 6 with SAFE Corvallis on a bike tour showcasing the local community, upcoming bike infrastructure projects, and promoting safe cycling practices. Ward 6 includes the north end of 9th Street, Kings Blvd., Circle Blvd., and butts up against Walnut Blvd.
Corvallis Spring Roll
Date: June 2nd, register online or onsite at 10am, riding starts at 11am
Location: Cloverland Park
Details: The Corvallis Spring Roll is a community bike and trike ride and cycle fair just for kids. It is a fun place for kids to experience the thrill of riding independently in a safe and exciting environment. This is not a race; instead the Corvallis Spring Roll rewards participation and effort (how many laps can you do?). Raffle and door prizes abound. Register here
