The Spring Overnight is an S24O bike camping adventure MVBC riders have been doing since 2015. Our primary destination has been Willamette Mission State Park (on the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway), but in 2023 we added Indepdence as an option, and in 2024 we went to Brownsville instead.

The Spring Overnight is a great way to test out your gear and get prepared for the touring season. We ride to our destination on Saturday, camp for the night, and ride home on Sunday. You carry all your own gear as there is no SAG support. The Willamette Mission Loop includes two ferries (Beuna Vista and Wheatland), the Willamette Valley Scenic Bikeway, and a nice cruise through Salem's Riverfront and Minto-Brown parks. 

For 2025 we're planning to offer three routes with different distances:

• Willamette Mission State Park - 110 miles round trip

• Brownsville - 55 miles round trip

• Independence - 48 miles round trip
